A wheelchair-accessible, ground floor,
double-bedded room with open plan en-suite shower
and toilet bathroom equipped and suitable for
disabled or elderly guests.
There is grab rail at one side of the toilet and
a removable seat to the open shower area. The
bedroom and bathroom have sufficient turning
space for a standard wheelchair and access to one
side of the bed for the wheelchair user.
A parking space is directly in front of the door
to this room. Storage space for an electric
'buggy'/wheelchair and recharging power point are
available in the adjoining garage.
This room is located in a small extension (built
1991) to the rear of the main house. Access to
the main house for breakfast or to use the lounge
is via the rear door, one step that can have a
ramp when necessary.
